I think it is great that you are donating the laptops to the schools!!! But I was just wondering what laptop is it that you are donating to the students and the department head of the schools?

Again thanks for giving back to the community!!!

Shannon, how can my NGO in Argentina apply for a grant?

We are looking for grants in order to finish a Computer Center in an under-represented town (Añatuya), where the local schools don't have the equipment needed to teach their students computer science. We want them to be able to outsource that on to this center, providing teachers with appropiate training to teach others.

Thank you very much for any help you can give us

We Need a Google presence in my college. Its all out Microsoft. Take for instance this semester, I had to buy a $100+ book on Excel then go get Microsoft Office software as well just to do an online BCIS class. This is ridiculous and if more schools knew about Google's products they would be making switches. It's time for Microsoft to step down and Google to step up.

I have a question about Google Jobs which is completely unrelated to the subject matter of this post: Following the submission of my application, should I re-apply if I discover new positions that are to my liking?

Thanks!

Google recently gave three other students and me Lenovo Laptops for achievement in math. I wanted to say that it was one of the kindest and most generous things that the school has given me. The laptop will certainly be utilized to further my math studies. Thank you very much google for the wonderful laptop, and I'm looking forward to using it! I hope more students who love math get to experience the same thing.

Great job Google! I really admire Google's ways of making a better world. I hope that the theme and mission of this "giving back to the community" will continue to prosper and encourage either Government or NGO's of countries worldwide to give a high value for education by helping even the less fortunate ones attain a good education.

PS: I always find rewards as great and effective motivators.

Hey guys. How is everybody? I know first hand what it is like to grow up in poverty and not have a good oppurtunity to a good education. A lot of times its not just the funding that we need but strong leadership as well. Here is a link I hope you take time to reply. We really need to work together to make the educational system more adequate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMTDFM6U8qs
